Pasir Gudang, May 8, 2025 – Alif Najmi bin Shahrizal, an 18-year-old youth with a learning disability, has proven that limitations are no barrier to growth and learning. As a special participant in the Karnival Pemberlajaran Sepanjang Hayat (PSH) Zon Johor 2025, held at Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan from May 7–8, Alif joined two short courses organized by Kolej Komuniti Kota Tinggi: Creating Posters Using Canva and Food Smartphone Photography.

With unwavering support from his parents—including his father, who is hearing-impaired—Alif embraced the opportunity to expand his skills and explore his interests. Known for his deep passion for computers and photography, Alif’s enthusiasm and determination stood out throughout the carnival.

His story is a testament to the importance of inclusive education and the power of family encouragement. Alif’s journey not only highlights his own achievements but also serves as a powerful inspiration to fellow participants and the broader community.

“Disability should never be a limitation to gaining knowledge and skills,” said one of the course instructors. “Alif is a shining example of how passion and support can break down barriers.”

Karnival Pembelajaran Sepanjang Hayat (PSH) Zon Johor 2025 celebrated lifelong education for all, with various hands-on workshops, exhibitions, and training sessions aimed at empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds. Alif’s participation added a meaningful touch to the event, reminding everyone that learning truly is for life—and for everyone.
