
Guizhou, 5 September 2025 – Jerantut Community College, in collaboration with Guizhou Vocational and Technical College of Water Resources and Hydropower, China, successfully organized the TVET International Training: Integrating Smart Aquaculture and Eco-Farming Technologies, held in conjunction with the China-Asean Education Cooperation Week (CAECW) 2025.
The opening ceremony was officiated by Mrs. Sheng Li, Vice President of Guizhou Vocational and Technical College of Water Resources and Hydropower, while welcoming remarks were delivered by Mr. Azad Muslim bin Muhammad, Director of Jerantut Community College.
This prestigious five-day program brought together 15 delegates from five PolyCC institutions — Jerantut Community College, Bera Community College, Tampin Community College, Temerloh Community College, and Jeli Polytechnic. Throughout the program, participants were exposed to valuable knowledge exchange focusing on sustainable fisheries and eco-friendly cultivation systems.
A historic highlight of the program was the official signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) between Jerantut Community College, Malaysia and Guizhou Vocational and Technical College of Water Resources and Hydropower, China, symbolizing the beginning of stronger bilateral cooperation in TVET and sustainable education.
All participants were also proudly awarded a Certificate of Completion in recognition of their active involvement and dedication during the training.
